Frequently asked questions
Why would I hire a professional home stager?
True Stories
House «A» was listed on the market for 9 months. This house was not well prepared for selling. It was cluttered with personal items, the furniture not well configured, there was a lack of space, the wall colors were out of style and it showed signs of aging. To make a long story short, house «A» needed help.
After being staged by L’Adresse Home Staging – Relooking, the property sold at the asking price in less than 30 days.
House «B», was staged by L’Adresse Home Staging – Relooking before being listed on the market. The owners received two offers in the same week and the sale was concluded in 19 days.

There are only advantages to hiring a professional home stager. Money and time, are just two of them. Every month that goes by costs you money when your property is on the market and does not sell. Not to mention the cost of a price reduction, often by tens of thousands of dollars.
Of course, it requires some effort… but the investment is worth it. We can help you make your sale a success story.
My house is already listed, is it too late for a home staging?
It’s never too late. Contact us and we will help you bring your house on the edge of the market. In general, within a couple of weeks, your house will be prepared and staged to appeal to the largest number of potential buyers. We recommend that you take your house off the market while it is being prepared and staged. Advise your broker, if you have one, and plan an update of your listing with new photos.
How much does home staging cost?
It all depends on the size and state of your house and whether it is furnished or not. You should budget approximately 1% of the asking price. This does not include rental accessories or work and repairs that you have agreed to do. If your house is well priced on the market, the cost of a home staging is a beneficial investment, while a price reduction remains a pure loss.
I love my decoration, why would I change it?
The saying “there is no accounting for tastes” is at the complete opposite when your house is for sale. Home Staging is done to appeal to the largest number of potential buyers, not necessarily to the taste of the sellers. In the process of a home staging, colors are neutralized, furniture is displayed strategically to enhance the space and decoration accessories are showcased to create an atmosphere in which buyers will readily feel at home. In other words, the finale reveals the WOW! factor that buyers are looking for.
Still not convinced?
The practice of home staging is well established in Canadian city centers. Home staging is the best proven marketing tool to sell a house in a timely fashion and at the optimal price. Sellers are increasingly calling on professional home stagers, because it works.
